I have been a car enthusiast for as long as I can remember. While attending the auto mechanics program at Lane Community College I rebuilt a 1982 Chevy Camaro. The car ran and was a lot of fun for many years. Like it is for many mechanics, a project is never complete. This summer I began restoring it yet again, attempting to change every nut, bolt, etc.
I began working at Swedish Engineering in August of 2003. I have enjoyed working under the great direction of owner Ed Meza for all of these years. He is a very honest and dedicated businessman. I respect him and value the loyalty he shows me and all of our customers.
I have driven a Volvo for most of my adult life and feel like I am always very safe and sound. I have encouraged other family members and friends to drive them as well.
I am the proud father of two sons ages 8 and 5. We often spend our free time at sporting events, near water, or riding anything with wheels. Most recently the boys have taken a liking to target practice with their new BB guns. We also enjoy competing in just about any video game available.
Born and raised here in Oregon, I have four brothers and one sister. My mother resides locally as well. We enjoy family functions and attempt to spend time together several times a year. I graduated from Springfield High School before attending LCC. I worked at another shop here in town, primarily on Volvos, for five years.
Overall my life is good, the 8-5 job is extremely rewarding. My kids are terrific, and I plan on working with Ed and the guys for a long time to come. |
